A new "BOOM" in concrete breaking

Although concrete breakers are effective, you can’t help but take a look at EzeBreak’s Micro-Blaster II. It gets the breaking job done with explosives.

The Micro-Blaster II is a compact demolition system that can break up hard rock and concrete. Using proprietary gas-producing cartridges to generate pressures up to 100,000 psi, materials are cracked from within.

No special licensing is needed. All users need to make is 5/16" x 10"- to 16"-deep hole so cartridges can be placed in the hole. This method greatly reduces hole-drilling requirements over traditional techniques.

The unit is triggered remotely by a pulse of 100 psi of air or CO2. The system can be configured to initiate up to six simultaneous shots, allowing masses of up to several tons to be cracked in one shot. Fly rock is virtually eliminated, greatly enhancing the safety of the system and allowing its use in almost any environment, Ezebreak sources report.

In the picture, the Micro-Blaster IIx3 kit, along with cartridges, allows users to employ one, two or three cracking heads.

Ezebreak’s spokesperson says the system will save users countless hours of difficult labor and greatly enhance the use of hammers in demolition projects by pre-cracking hard materials.
