Extended
forklift boom
Get extra reach with off-road forklifts with the extended
fork lift boom from Construction Lifters, a division of the
Caldwell Group. The boom offers four hook position from 12'
to 15'. The low-profile design stores easily and has a rated
capacity of up to 2,500 lbs.

Carbide-tipped
cutters
Hougen Manufacturing now offers carbide-tipped Holcuter
sheet metal cutters for materials up to 1/8" thick including
stainless steel, alloys, cast iron, and other hard
materials. The carbide tips optimize feed rates for faster
cycle times and increased productivity. Creates perfect,
burr-free holes from 11/16" through 3" diameters. Also
features a three-flatted shank that can fit 3/8" or 1/2"
handheld drill chucks. The cutters include a pilot, arbor
and spring to eject the center slug. The integral shoulder
is designed to prevent damage from plunge-through as the cut
is completed.

Dry
masonry saw
Makita now offers the 4 3/8" model 4100NH dry masonry saw,
with a powerful 12 amp motor and 1-3/8" cutting capacity.
This powerful yet compact saw will cut a range of masonry
materials. The easy-to-adjust depth gauge helps achieve a
precise cut and the flat rear side of the motor housing
allows for easy blade changes. The unit is compact and easy
to use. The lock-off button helps prevent accidental starts
to ensure user safety, while the compact design (8 5/8" in
length, 5.9 lbs.) makes this tool ideal for multiple
applications. The 4100NH comes with a 4" turbo
general-purpose diamond blade. The saw also includes a
wrench and socket wrench.

Telehandlers
New Holland introduces its M427 (42' reach/6,600 lb. cap.),
M428 (42' reach/8,000 lb. cap.) and M459 (45' reach/9,000
lb. cap.) models. The units have a low boom design for
better visibility, a single joystick control and easy
service access. Their tight steering radius allows for easy
maneuvering. They come with front, crab and four-wheel
steering modes. The axles, mainframe and reinforced
telescoping boom are designed for the rigors of lifting,
carrying and digging. The open-center hydraulic system
delivers smooth operation and two high-flow gear pumps
deliver 31.7 gpm total flow. Optional auxiliary boom
hydraulics allow for operation of a variety of hydraulically
powered attachments.

cost-effective way to distribute power in a plug and play
